In my role as VDC Coordinator at Per Aarsleff A/S, I am entrusted with the critical task of overseeing VDC/BIM coordination for the DTU Building 250 - Cellerator project. This involves ensuring the integrity and quality of IFC models, which are essential for effective project execution.
A significant part of my responsibilities includes managing 4D simulations that integrate the construction schedule with the 3D models. This allows for a dynamic visualization of the construction process, enabling better planning and coordination among various stakeholders. This is particularly important for the complex requirements of clean room construction, where precision and adherence to specifications are paramount.
Additionally, I am involved in developing new workflows and tools for positioning Per Aarsleff A/S in the realm of programming and automation within the construction industry using BIM data and streamlining them to Power BI from Anker DB. We are also exploring training our own machine learning models to enhance data quality of IFC models by automatically detecting classification errors and inconsistencies.
